    The Green Beast

I am new to motorcyling and have loved every minute of it as I have transitioned my love of bicycling to the motorized two wheel fun of experiencing the countryside.  After taking the Basic Rider Safety course it was off to explore and to discover the many possibilities...

taste best. Saddlebags can never hold everything you want, but they CAN hold everything you need. Home is where your bike sits still long enough to leave a few drops of oil on the ground. The only good view of a thunderstorm is in your rearview mirror. Bikes don't leak oil...

My husband and I love ridding our motorcycles

year round. We own two new Gold Wings. We enjoy taking our teenagers on our bikes too for a nice ride in the countryside and on the freeway. When we go on vacation in August, many times we will take our bikes on short trips. We have nudist friends in Casa Grande and in...

Had one of those rides today.

Woke up in the morning, thought "What a lovely Day! I'll take my bike to work!" Hopped on and about 6 people tried to kill me, rode the whole way cursing and go to where I was going absolutely hating my bike and riding in general. Then on the way home from work nobody tried to...

    There is no better feeling

than cruising down the back country roads on a Harley knowing you have a beautiful woman on the back seat leaning against you enjoying the ride. Especially when she has never ridden on a motorcycle before. The roar of the drag pipes and the thrill in her voice. She is worth...

    The Family Hobby

To this day, almost all of the members of my immediate family love to ride. Mom, dad, my brother and his wife, cousins, uncles- its the one thing we all seem to share a common passion for. Not all of my family members are mechanics, however most of them have some kind of job...

    The Greatest Feeling

There is nothing greater than the feeling of riding my motorcycle on a warm, sunshiny day on the back roads of America. The freedom I feel is relaxing and invigorating.

    Bells have been around since

before Jesus. They were used for alerts to battle, storms, gatherings, births and deaths. And grand celebration. Back in olden days a small bell was given to a cherished one. to ward off evil and gaurd them a " Bell with intent". The Navy based on traditional history has a...

    Our Preference

My first motorized two wheeler was the neighborhood mini-bike, back then at least one kid in every neighborhood had one. The thing had small diameter wheels, no suspension at all, powered by a lawn-mower engine and very little breaking ability. In short it was dangerous as hell...

    The First Crash

I've been riding for somewhere around 40 years, give or take a few, and the first crash I had was a newly licensed teenager with his girlfriend and another couple in the back seat. I was following him when he pulled over to the grass on the side of the road. I slowed down not...

I have a GSX-R 750 and he is my baby!

My mom asked me why I ride my bike when it's safer and more comfortable to drive a car. I told her that driving a car is like "errrrrrrrrrr" and riding a motorcycle is like "ARRRRRR EEEEEEEE ARRRRRRRR EEEEEEE ARRRRRRRRR!!!" There is no freedom like being on the bike, whipping...

    The Last Ride Of 2012.......

Today, after seeing Venus this morning before sunrise, I decided despite the cool temperatures that I would take one last ride before putting the Trike away for the winter.... The cool, fresh air was exhilarating and there remained several sites with panoramic colors of trees...

    Stress Relief

I've had a few bikes over the years, off and on. I admit that I'm one of these fair weather riders. I prefer to be comfortable and not get wet unless I get caught in the rain while out. What a way to relieve stress. When **** hits, just hop on and enjoy the ride. Nice scenery...

    Ridin' The Best Therapy.

I took up riding' when I was 33. As soon as I did I wished I would've picked it up earlier, like in my late teens (my Dad was dead set against it then) or in my early twenties (I was on my own then). If I had I wonder how much my life would've been. I was on USS Kitty Hawk and...
