I Love to Run

I had an accident this afternoon in a restaurant

where me and my friends had lunch. When I stood up, my right foot twitched. I fixed my shoe and wonder why. Then I stood up again and walked. After 2 steps, I fell, my dress up on my thighs, my face red, my foot so painful. Bad fall. Now it is so inflamed. This morning...

    Half-Marathon, I'm Coming !

Almost two years ago, one of my friends told me about a 5K she ran the year before, It was the first time I hear about those kind of competitions and It took me a while to understand what are marathons, half marathons and 5K's. That year, that friend of mine ran that 5K again...

    It just feels so nice.

Like you get all tired and sore and hot and its just like you get to run away from anything and everything and you're clearing it away. I love how it makes me feel after I finish.

    Worth Your Time.

It's been over 3 years since I've seen you. A lots changed since we've seen each other last. You took up a life of health living, and a life built well suited for you. I took up a life just enough to get by, only to make me selfishly stronger. You love The Lord, I'm a drifter...

    Running In The Rain.

The best time for me to go for a run is when it is just starting to lightly rain outside. :) I love how the world looks, sounds, and smells when it rains as I jog by. By the time I get back home its full on rain and invigorating. It's the best- except when I have to peel off the...

The longer and farther I ran,

the more I realized that what I was often chasing was a state of mind – a place where worries that seemed monumental melted away, where the beauty and timelessness of the universe, of the present moment, came into sharp focus.”

    Why I Run

I can't say I run because Im good at it. I don't think I am. I think I run for various reasons. 1. Fitness and health- First and foremost I run for my health. I don't feel any other form of exercise helps my weight and health as does running. I sweat a lot when I run and I...

    consecutive days of running .

. yoga has now taken a backseat...although I miss it & hopefully will be back at it in some days .. For now it's time to focus on distances .. Though 6km is not a big distance but it just gives enough pleasure when you do it after a full day at work in a regular busy weekly...

Most people like to collect stuff

when they visit a foreign location. Some people collect T-Shirts, others stock up on postcards. For me, I collect runs. Nothing excites me more than going for a run in a foreign spot. I don't plan ahead, I just pick a random direction and hope for the best.

    Running helps me cope.

I was abused when I was little, and lately I've been fighting a lot with my family. My step dad, half brothers, and my mom have been driving me up the walls. Running gives me an escape and a release, plus it helps to keep me healthy.
