    Running In The Rain.

The best time for me to go for a run is when it is just starting to lightly rain outside. :) I love how the world looks, sounds, and smells when it rains as I jog by. By the time I get back home its full on rain and invigorating. It's the best- except when I have to peel off the...

I always feel so much happier during

and after my run - My thoughts are clearer, I'm focused, and I feel incredible. Any other runners out there that understand my love for it? Hahaha.

I truly love to run. I find myself getting

excited about my next run. I meticulously lay out my gear the night before. The first thing I do when I wake up is check the weather to see wind and temp. I also have 10 different routes pre planned depending on the direction of the wind. If I could choose a weather condition...

I had an accident this afternoon in a restaurant

where me and my friends had lunch. When I stood up, my right foot twitched. I fixed my shoe and wonder why. Then I stood up again and walked. After 2 steps, I fell, my dress up on my thighs, my face red, my foot so painful. Bad fall. Now it is so inflamed. This morning...

The longer and farther I ran,

the more I realized that what I was often chasing was a state of mind – a place where worries that seemed monumental melted away, where the beauty and timelessness of the universe, of the present moment, came into sharp focus.”

    ...it helps with my thoughts

and makes everything better. I feel like a new person. Before my mom died she always thought I would be a runner, then after she died I started to lose weight and run... I use to hate running now I love it because of my moms dream.

I am running in my first 5K in over 5 years.

Second in over 18 yrs. I used to run 5 and 10 K runs multiple times a year in my 20s and 30s. So glad I am able to get back into it and the body is holding up well.

Why is it that the hardest part of going out

for a run is getting yourself out of the door? Went out for a run today and once I started doing it I was glad to be there, finding my way through the woods, my mind totally focused on my footing not to trip on the rocks. My thoughts stilled, and I felt this zen feeling wash...

It's been over 3 years since I've seen you. A lots changed since we've seen each other last. You took up a life of health living, and a life built well suited for you. I took up a life just enough to get by, only to make me selfishly stronger. You love The Lord, I'm a drifter...

It's so simple! All you need is a pair of

shoes--no fancy equipment. Recharges me after a day of work. After running I feel like I added hours to my day. Sometimes I feel like having too little time is an illusion. When I run, I recharge, refocus, and reprioritize. Some of the things that seemed super important...

which I prefer to do every now and then. I warm up to the sound of waves crashing, but I like to plug into my jams while I run. It's probably not so great for my form, as I end up wanting to half dance, making my pace sporadic and a little wobbly at times. Had a blast, though...
