    A Wild Animal

A godam beast. I need the fatigue, I become restless. I like the speed and momentum, the acceleration, the sweat and heat. Some animals like it like that.

    Running In The Rain.

The best time for me to go for a run is when it is just starting to lightly rain outside. :) I love how the world looks, sounds, and smells when it rains as I jog by. By the time I get back home its full on rain and invigorating. It's the best- except when I have to peel off the...

I had an accident this afternoon in a restaurant

where me and my friends had lunch. When I stood up, my right foot twitched. I fixed my shoe and wonder why. Then I stood up again and walked. After 2 steps, I fell, my dress up on my thighs, my face red, my foot so painful. Bad fall. Now it is so inflamed. This morning...

Running the 400. One small lap has never seemed

so big. Rounding that first curve, I'm half way done, then the rigor-mortis bend starts to kick in, but the coach is screaming at me telling me to push it. I can't stop. I get past the bend and begin to go numb. The second phase, rounding the second curve and finally to the...

Running has become an important part of my life.

I love the feeling you get after a long run; sweat dripping, sore muscles, and gasping for air while your strong, healthy body recovers. I run for the feeling of being free, for the beauty of nature, and to keep my body feeling great everyday. It's also a great way to clear your...

I had retired from running – even evening jogs – as I was tired of it. At my peak, I was running on average 50 miles a week, which was probably too much and as you can imagine very time consuming. I wanted to read more, drink more and engage in more activities. Now the...

I am a runner, the feeling of being on the trail

or pavement with my music, miles passing under my feet is exhilarating. I've always wanted to do a full marathon. That is my goal, this year I have focused more on being in the weight room, so I haven't run as much, but it still calls me and I put on my shoes and go for a run.
