Swimming to me is in a sense natural,

even more than walking or talking. The fluid movements made in maneuvering through or under the water are beautiful. When I swim I feel free and apart from trivial worries. I wish I were a mermaid who lives swimming forever free in the wonder of the ocean. (〜^∇^)〜

    For My Kids...

I never learned to swim. I could get by on my back just fine, but as for putting my face in the water without holding my nose...it wasn't going to happen. I always felt silly, but eventually I just got used to it and assumed I would never learn to swim. This summer my kids and I...

!!! after taking a day off yesterday, I swam great! and most importantly I had some major improvements in my breathing, seeing yourself improve is by far the best feeling I ever had!! it felt weird but awesome walking out of the pool with a dumb smile on my face. :)
