Thailand. One of the most culturally stimulating places I have been, a beautiful country and everyone out there is super friendly.

I definately recommend it, but go for longer than I did, a month just isn't enough time.

Lake Como, Italy is one of my favorite places.  I've been there twice, and it is so peaceful and relaxing.  Chamonix, France and Mount Blanc are other places I love to go.  I haven't been to Thailand yet, but everyone who has gone there has positive things to say about it.

I have travelled quite a bit, i must admit, greece is a beaitufil country!

Though I heard a lot about Cambodia's scenery as well as Peru's scenery.... They are on my travel list haha.

Also, I have seen pictures a friend made when he visited Greenland. They are just incredible.

Oh and New Zealand has beautiful volcanic sceneries....

In fact, there are so many countries... I have like 30 on my travel list .... each for different reasons...

I haven't traveled that much but i have been to new zealand, australia, canda, and all over the U.S. however i'd have to say that my favorite not only because of beauty but because of how amazing and nerly perfect in every way it is would be dare i say it...canada (british columbia especially), it was breath-taking. the view from a friends house that i was staying at. You could see the northern lights in the sky sometimes at night, and it was so clear and there were so many stars that i wanted to camp outside and just look and dissapear into the sky. You could also see mt baker from the nearby dropzone in abbotsford. and the sunset over the mt was absolutely asonishing. and the lakes and nearby attractions (that you could only find if you knew where to look) were incredible as well. Canada is an amazing country i would like to go back there again soon. And to anyone looking for a place to take a trip to i highly reccomend british columbia canada. You could also go skydiving while you are there as well which is a once in a lifetime expeirience and you will never regret it nor forget it. So where ever you go good luck and hope you have funn =)

Venice is the most amazing place in the world. Disney could never have created a place so magical.

Bali in Indonesia is perhaps the most exotic adventure destination due to its unique location, terrain and richness in terms of biological diversity.

I would LOVE to visit Greece--that's my next stop, hopefully.

Germany is amazing--beautiful, clean, and the people are very friendly (at least in the places I've visited--Cologne, Ramstein, Landstuhl, Bruchmuhlbach, Saarbrucken, K-town...)

Paris is beautiful, lively and fun, but dirty (like all cities) and many of the people are extremely rude to American tourists.

It is now surely but slowly changing over into Winter in Europe. You should rather come to South Africa as it is changing over into Summer.Stay for a couple of months or for the FIFA Worldcup 2010. I could assist with travel and accommodation arrangements. We are very proud to have the world in one country. Feel free to come over and try it. You won't be disappointed, especially with a very favourable Rand/Euro exchange rate. I hope to see you soon.

MissyF, I would have to say the best places to go to are the ones that you personally connect with.

Those places touch you. There's something life changing about them.

The best places for you might not even get the whiff of a mention, either online or in the thickest guidebooks. That's because they not only happen to be special in the moment, they depend on what holds meaning for you.

Like going to a fabulous restaurant for a special event, the best places that people rave about can depend on the day.

So how do you go about finding the best places, MissyF? Well, I recommend starting with places that have the greatest meaning to you. If you think Paris is the centre of romance and that's what inspires you, you better go.

If  trekking through forest clad mountain trails  gets you inspired, then start hunting them out.

Search in your heart for the things that move you. Then use those cues to help you work out where to go.

Through knowing what gives you delight, you can enjoy discovering the world according to what matters.

To you.
