        Writing is something

that is relatively new in my life. I spent many years in the world of graphics and advertising and writing was something someone else did. It was a natural transition however, because I did enjoy telling stories. Everyone in my family had heard them all so I had to find a way to...

I almost can't stop crafting fictional worlds

to live in. I've written 2 100K+ word novels and I just recently started submitting my work into competitions, which of course, only encourages me to write more. Nothing makes me happier than when I meet someone who looks or acts like one of my characters; I almost forget I'm in...

    I love writing stories

that reflect my emotions on an upscaled level. Because it just seems like an imaginative good story. It's an easy way to vent and it's really fun to be able to create a world that's entirely my own out of paper.

    Its Dark..

Too dark... I must of dosed off to not notice the candles that were lit had went out. I had left the musings and everyday ramblings of city life behind to live out my days in the mountains. For the most part it was very serene, living in this small cabin built by my own two hands...

About to start chapter 4. This book is the most fun yet. It was scary at first staring at blank pages but now I have started and love where the story is going. There is a long way to go, but every journey begins with that first step.

    Florence Fear.

I think the best fictional tales are the ones

with a bit of truth to them. I remember once what it felt like to be against the wall. It was back when I was living in Ohio. I just got off work from the day shift at the restaurant. The day shift is fairly simple enough for me to go through day with being covered in filth...

Avoiding cliche material is always something a writer tries to do. We want a reader to follow and understand the plot, but we don't want a reader to be able to predict the entire thing. A helpful tool I always try to use is to have what I call an Expectant Voice either in the...
