    Tooooo Gooodd!!!

eargasmic... highly intellectual... highly sub-conscious in nature (many of the songs)... progression that progresses out of its own genre !! Beautiful lyrics !! Drumming that will go in and out of your body... Such truthful Hate... very well sung !! I do not know..how will...

The Next Logical Step In The Progression Of Music

I believe Tool is the next logical step in the progression of music. Their music is the only music I can listen to anymore, because nothing else compares. Once you go Tool, you can never go back. They are gods among men and their music is a gift to this world.

The music is tight, unique, heavy yet melodic. The vocals are haunting. The lyrics are deep and introspective. All in all, this band is genius. They are definitely in my top 5. I'm listening to them right now, actually. lol

    my most favorite band.

seen them 3 times live now. saw them live at the beginning of the year, with primus opening for them. was awesome. even despite the douche bag bro sat next to me,almost elbowing me in the face, and, clearly dragged to the show by his annoying and flailing all over the...

    All of My Life

Or at least my adult life.  (I listened to Weird AL as a kid)  First time I heard tool back in middle school I was instantly hooked.  I always have Tool on my MP3 player's playlist.  Amazing music.

This band is litteraly the definition of

when music becomes more Than just music. This is heavy, serious an uncanny to say the least, but so powerful it holds you like a straightjacket. Mjk's voice never fails to give me goosebumps and dannys drums are of this world. I really hope i Will see them live someday.

    Tonights Concert

I flew from Western Australia to Sydney just to see my heroes perform tonight. What a display it was. To say it was indescribably beautiful would be an insult. The lights, the animation, the synch, the artists the music, the talent.. Wow... I grew up with Tool, and although I...

Lateralus is one of my all time fav songs ,

although it's hard to pick just one they all have great insight. I had an experience where a red and yellow DNA spiral came into my head and healed me in some fashion , then a few days later I heard lateralus - black and white are all I see in my infancy red and yellow then came...

No one even knows who tool is anymore.

. I know it takes a lot of appreciation for music to like their music but really no one even knows who they or mjk are. It's sad.

Someone will be like "Oh I love Tool!

Best band ever! And then I ask "Name one song besides Schism or Sober." And that's usually where they get stumped XD

    At a Loss For Words

I love Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer.  Tool is my go to music, and has been since I was in high school, for when I'm feeling good, feeling bad or in between, there is just something about the music, lyrics, Maynard's voice that make me feel alive and/or elsewhere...

    It's Enlightening

James Keenan Maynard is nothing short of genius. Every song put out by Tool is just as amazing and insightful as the last. Music has not had meaning like this since the days of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and very few will ever be anything close to what these musicians express. I...

Don't get me wrong, I love Tool and it's the best band I've ever seen live... but is anyone else tired of waiting for a new album? I understand it usually takes them a while to put stuff out but this wait since 10,000 Days is ridiculous compared to the times between their other...

I met Maynard the other day... UPDATE!

For those who have read my story, I felt that you deserved to know the full, true story, as shameful as it may be. I entered and Maynard was sitting in a chair. Both hands were held out before him in fists, with palms toward the floor. "Let's chant." I blinked...
