Her fantastic album 'Little Earthquakes' has always been a special friend of mine, especially when I feel down about myself. 'Crucify' always reminds me that I need to change the way I feel about myself. 'Silent all these years' is another song I can't get enough of too!I could go on and on and on but I know you can all agree that she has gorgeous songs we all LOVE.

She can be hard for some people to understand. I know many who just can't read between the lines so to speak. I think she has a fantastic gift of using unique and quirky lyrics that really do touch your soul. She is truly my all time fav female artist.

I really identify with Tori. We're about the same age, Virgos, grew up on the East Coast. I felt like a friend was talking with me when I first listened to Little Eartquakes. 'Leather' and 'Silent...' are my 2 big indelible songs. That album was the soundtrack to a period of my life that redirected my path. It had great impact and importance then and still does. I always get something from it.

I have seen her in concert 4 times, several years apart each time. In NY for Under the Pink tour 1992, in Seattle 1996, in Phoenix 2002 and again 2007. It feels like a reunion with an old friend as I notice how we've both changed. Each show is so personal and intimate from the way she shares herself with her fans. And the way she gives all of herself to the music in the moment.

Love her. Admire her. Would love to spend a weekend talking with her at a beach house.

Even if you can't read between the lines she rocks on the piano.  I love music.  I love Silent all these years and Little Earthquakes, oh hell I could go on.
