after spending a week with my girlfriend out in nature. I have gone to Yosemite several times before and every single time I am blown away by how amazing nature is. Yosemite is one of those places where you can look in any given direction for hours and still not believe you are...

    The Comfort Of Trees

When I was a little girl, we moved into a house with peach trees in the backyard and a little willow tree out in front. I spent countless hours playing under the biggest of the peach trees and telling my troubles to the willow tree. When I was seven and my father did something...

A Much Loved Tree With No Friends

Today I watched as the most beautiful tree in my village was sliced into small pieces and taken away. It was part of an avenue - formed from all sorts of species, but this beech tree was the avenue's crowning glory. Every Autumn its hundred-thousand leaves would turn the to the...

    I've always loved trees.

I got comfort in them during a time in my childhood. I had two I called "friends" and they had names. I would talk to them, give them "meals" and climb in them and make music on them by using branches. I was 10/11. I was sad to move away and not see them again. Lame I know. Is...

    TREES BY THE LAKE ...COMPASSION

TREES by the lake..... As the sun rises slowly over the horizon, over the trees, these trees become all of a sudden golden. All the leaves are bright with life and as you watch them as the hours pass by, - an extraordinary quality seems to spread all over the land, over...

    I Cried Over One Once

I think tress are magnificent.  They stand tall and proud & offer humans & other animals so much, so as shelter & shade.  They are strong, can withstand the elements & most winds.  (I've seen winds so strong that trees bend so far that I think they...

    Tree Song

You are a majestic tree. Your spread branches reach to the ready skies. Your roots are deep, entrenched, resolute, you. I am a remarkable tree. My spread branches continue to reach, stretching, My roots are less deep, some are marred, growing, me. But we stand side by side. You...

because of all they symbolise. I like lemon trees, in Nice we have a festival. For magnificence it is hard to think of a tree to rival the cedars of Lebanon.

A proper treehouse which is 100% off the ground. Little scary. I'd love to sit in it during a rain pour while reading. Bliss!! And it will be like a real house with windows, insulation and doors. Even a bed!!!
