    Always had a reverence

for records, but never had the ability to play any... That is, until I found a turntable in the attic while we were moving! Been collecting since, it's been about a year now. :)

Finally there is a comeback of vinyl records

stories in my community. The story I visit is a record and coffee shop where I can sit back and listen. There are a lot of used records which are at a reasonable price. I have a phono cartridge and a turntable. Playing vinyl the sound just pops out at you.

    I started collecting

when I was younger and fell behind. Recently started back up again. There's nothing better than listening to some Zeppelin on vinyl. The sound quality is the best.

    Those Were The Days.

In my kitchen I have a radiogram.  It's a Blaupunkt Stereo radiogram and cocktail cabinet combined.  It has a built in radio and a record deck.  It's quite a handsome piece of furniture and used to belong to my parents.  It was my Dad's pride and joy and he used to polish it...

    Definitely making a comeback.

We need another surge of authenticity in this crazy digital age of ours. What better way to start than with Vinyl? My Dad gave me ALL his vinyl recently, and in that collection was a mint Dark Side of the Moon. Most of all, Vinyl records makes us appreciate album artwork...

I'm not sure what it is about vinyl records

that I love so much. I guess it's a combination of things. I really like the covers. I like that it's a huge picture to look at. I think it's cool that music is stored in little grooves. And I just like being able to watch it spin while it plays. I think listening to a...

Streaming music just doesn't cup it with me.

I've used and collected vinyl records all my life. I've tried to CD revolution and never enjoyed it. Sure you have to flip the record over, but isn't that about being connected to the music. I heard a vinyl quote vinyl has surface noise, but so does life.

If You're Going To Listen ..............................

I Truly believe the only way to listen to good music, is with a System, a Component System, to be more correct, Yep, Turntable, Amp, Equaliser - 10 Band, Tuner, Tapedeck, CD Player. And really if it's worth listining too, it should be black (though I do have a couple of coloured...

My love for vinyl records has gone back to

since I was a child. I just love the smell of a fresh vinyl record. The act of cleaning the record and putting it on the turntable seems like a art just to deeply enjoy the music. Streaming music is fine but using a turntable is so much more like the true art of listening to...

There's just something about owning a huge

record, with the pretty art, and dropping the needle on the record, watching it spin....that completely beats every other form of music-listening to date. I don't think I'll ever stop collecting records.
