tina4545 wrote on 09:00AM at Feb 22nd, 2008 Yeah I think it is the end of days because of Aids, Cancer, global warming and all of the other crazy **** that is happening. My aunt told me about Revelations in the Bible and it all coming to pass!!!!!!! To think it could all end tomorrow is pretty scary huh?

francineo wrote on 01:47AM at Apr 23rd, 2008 I agree that these are the end times. It has all been predicted in revelations. The plagues, the floods, the changing weather. It is our own fault that its happening too. It is a shame that my children will exist in a world so unlike the one I grew up in. There is also a lot of movies, books and such about Mary Magdelene. She has suddenly become very popular. Also aliens, psychic abilities. I think we are ready to know the truth about ourselves, its just our government thinks we cant handle it. hah, try us. My mood: extremely frustrated

alokkarn wrote on 06:53AM at Jun 9th, 2008 Dont think that way. The world has been existing for billions of years. No matter what we do, nature has the intrinsic capcity of taking everything in its stride. It can however, hit back at us which can lead to large scale and massive disasters. But to think that the world will come to an end is weird thought. Better kill it and live happily. You limit yourself to yourself. Be good, do good, think good and live good. Best of luck.

Rahnesong wrote on 08:16PM at Sep 5th, 2008 You all realize that every couple of hundred a years (especially around the start of a new millenia) people freak out and go on about how it's the 'end of days' and everything/everyone is going to cease to exist and what not. Yet we're still here. Funny how that works.

7thunders wrote on 04:44PM at Sep 20th, 2008 Yes, I agree. The world has existed for billions of years....but the things living on the world have not. It's not the earth that is in jeopardy, but mankind. I do believe that times are different (we've always been bad so that's a given), and the difference is....unsettling? Revelations is true but orderly... and timely, meaning it takes place in a structured way. I don't know the interpretation nor the date (I read the other messages about 2012, but even Jesus didn't know the "day nor the hour") but there are descriptions of bad times and "woes" which don't sound particulary inviting. Keep doing good and being good, and I will try to do the same. Great advice!

outerorange wrote on 06:33PM at Oct 18th, 2008 We are mortal. The world is mortal. Neither nature nor humanity ALWAYS "sorts things out", at least not without catastrophes and extinctions large and small. But every generation spawns another group of infantile thinkers so hilariously arrogant as to think that the problems encountered in THEIR day are SO special that it "must be the end times". The "2012" people prove that it is NOT just followers of old world monotheism who are ridiculously infantile enough to think that when they die they are taking the whole world with them. Just what we need. A new group of apocalyptic pinheads awaiting the end instead of working for new beginnings.

k1nudey wrote on 11:31PM at Oct 23rd, 2008 As I understand the 2012 thing the world does continue after that that date but after it has gone through a great catastrophic event which occurs in endless cycles. Just like the end of the world predictions.

lehamaestroi wrote on 07:21AM at Feb 25th, 2009 What I had heard/read was that 2012 to the Mayans was basically the equivalent of our December 31st. Meaning, their calendar resets and starts anew after 2012, just like ours does after December 31st.

CuteCulumon wrote on 06:50AM at May 23rd, 2009 That's what I heard too. But I don't care. If the Earth dies, then that's it. However, I think people are over-reacting to this.

LaVidaSombra wrote on 06:33PM at Apr 23rd, 2012 Since the beginning of time, there have been people who freak out and believe that the end is nigh. I would agree that this generation may well be our downfall, but there are a few bright spots. Though they are a minority indeed, there are bright people in this generation; we just need to nurture them, encourage their traits in others. Of course, just so I'm not one of those caught off guard or in denial, I've been researching survival skills. If the end of days actually does come, I want to try to survive. Of course I'm speaking of a non-religious "end of days". As for the religious version, I don't worry. I don't believe in it and all those fantastical things can be explained and/or discredited. Anyhoo, I think people worry more when times are tough and very dark, which they are now. It can feel like fall of Rome, but all we have is the here and now. Live your best life right now, everyday, every minute. Make the most of every moment and there won't be any regrets, because the end, if it's coming, may be very sudden. Worrying about the end won't stop it and just makes right now very sad. Just be here and now and live your life.

RainbowSplash wrote on 08:46PM at May 9th, 2012 I believe that the world will end when God decides it will end. When the world ends, we're all going to have to deal with it. You only live once, so live the best life you possibly can. And if you do that, it wont matter when you die, because there was nothing more you can do. Live a good life. live without fear.
