Can't Get Enough Of Those WTF Movies

The previous WTF movies I saw were "Zardoz" and "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension". I have several more lined up to watch, such as "Naked Lunch", "Performance", and "Skidoo". I've seen most of the best bizarre movies in existence already, but I still...

    Black Comedies

I have a fondness for dark humour and dark comedies especially ones along the line of Beetlejuice, Heathers, or even Nothing But Trouble (1991). I personally think that ones like Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and any of the Howling...

Yep, I Like Some Freaky Ones

I have an odd taste in movies. I'm a David Lynch fan if that tells you anything. Anyhow, I just watched this movie. Ya, it was weird in a scary freaky kind of way. It's a really good movie though. Not suitable for children of course.

Dungeon Master? What The Heck Was That?

Last night I went and did something really strange. I snuck into a quiet room while the rest of my family was asleep and turned on a film made back in the 1980's. The film was called The Dungeon Master. But before you get all excited thinking this was some kind of early...

Has Anyone Here Ever Seen The Movie "mom And Dad"?

I never saw it, its an old fil circa late-40s that was really controversial for its time and showed an actual birth in it. I guess the guy that made it, Kroger Babb, promoted it in weird ways like having fake nurses selling sex ed literature. Everything I read about it puts it at...

"The Scribbler" is seriously one of the best

movies I've seen in a while. it's on Netflix. the protagonist is a young woman with severe dissociative identity disorder (multiple personalities) living in a halfway house. it's dark and existentialist and brilliant. five stars.

I Am An Artist That Apreciates All Forms Of Art

I like odd movies that make you think. David Lynch movies are awesome! . I feel that a great film is a work of art. I think that Hollywood movies are usually boring and monotonous. I am an abstract artist, so my artistic ideas are quite unusual. In my own warped way, I think...

    Look Who's Back!

My favourite weird movie is 'Basket Case' - it's cheap, from the 80s and may have gone straight to Betamax but the concept it tackles is EpicTwo conjoined brothers, one looks normal, the other is a large deformed scab with eyes and a mouth like a barnacle, but with strong arms...

    Takashi Miike

Every single one of Takashi Miike's movies are bat **** crazy. They make David Lynch movie look almost tame by comparison. My favorite one is Ichi the Killer, but his absolute craziest movies have got to be either Visitor Q or Gozu (I can't decide which of these two are crazier...

    Forbidden Zone...The Strangest Movie Ever

Forbidden Zone, from 1982, is about some girl going to a fantasy zone in her basement. Mainly, I remember the music. Danny Elfman, from Oingo Boingo did the soundtrack. I think it was one of the first ones he did. And then he did Pee-Wee Herman's Big Adventure. You are...

There is an Italian rip off of Star Wars called

    Ken Russell RIP

Although I haven't seen a Russell movie in the cinema since 1991's '*****' his films throughout the 1970s and 80s were outrageous and fun.  Many of his movies are a bit bubblegum - all the classical music themes and the Gothic Horrors were worth a tittilating, often prurient...
