When I was young I might have been told not to leave the yard for whatever it was I may have been being punished for, so I would climb trees.

I started very young and continue to do so in my forties. One lesson learned..do not climb to the top of pine tree's and look down. Especially when the top of the tree is bending over from weight of chunky twelve year old.

I climb trees a lot just to get away from people. It makes me feel free. I like to try and find a place on a tree where I can balance and let the wind blow my hair back. It's a wonderful feeling.
