    The Night Conquered

Unfortunately I suffer with chronic pain. When I fall asleep in pain it will effect my dreams. They quickly turn into nightmares that surround that part of my body that's in pain. ie: if I should have sharp stabbing pains in my lower back due to my torn disk then I would dream...

As Someone Who Has Been Lucid Dreaming For 6 Or So Years Now, This Was A New One For Me

I have chronic insomnia, and usually sleep for 4 or 5 hours, wake up for about 3, then go back to sleep. I lucid dream fairly often by maintaining awareness through my sleep paralysis. Anyways, tonight I had my first dream within a dream, and was blown away when I realized I...

The earliest I can remember was nap time in

pre-school. I had a lucid, reoccurring dream of falling. I am in a beam of light but the empty space around me is black or foggy. Coming from the vast darkness are MANY voices, mostly whispers, all speaking at one time so I can not hear any one voice in particular until BAM! I...

    It's kind of strange sometimes.

Like I'm living an alternate life in my dreams. When I fall asleep, I become this unbelievably powerful being hunted by everyone and everything. It's a real pain because honestly I just want to have fun and mess around with my powers. But people can't handle that and they always...

I shapeshift quite frequently in dreams.

When you are a shapeshifter, maintaining one form and being unable to change it is a very frustrating feeling. It's stagnating. That's how I feel when I'm awake.

For the most part I am able to control the

whereabouts and content of a dream. However if I am really tired I lose control over it and I start having a random dream and it just becomes like Im watching myself do things in a random situation.
