I Mastered Lucid Dreaming Forum & Chat Board | why is it deifficult to find the person i want in my dream...

when im dreaming, i know it is a dream...and i can float fly ,become a vampire werewolf (thanks to vampire diaries,twilight ) etc when i want in my dream (usually )...but ill have a hard time finding the person i want in my dream  , why is it so? is it because my first crush wasn't successful? so its embeded in my brain that i wont get the guy i want? 
what to do about it?

 

I have experienced that before.  You have to keep trying.  What typically works for me is imagining their features, you can also do this right before you go to bed.  You can think of what they looked like when you last saw them, or a particularly strong memory and focus in on their facial features.  You have to be careful not to push your mind too far or you can force yourself to wake up.  I have kept working on it and a good percentage of the time I can turn anyone's face into the one I am looking for.  There was one night I was dreaming I was at a particularly ritzy event and was trying to find this cute guy I remembered, and I was having a hard time pulling in his face. My dream actually gave me 3 or 4 different options...it was kind of funny that even my mind was trying to help me out. It never quite worked out the way I wanted but not for a lack of trying.
