Come On. Let's Hear the Stories!

Here's mine: Every morning, I sit on the floor, light a stick of incense, and attend to my breath until the incense has burned down - about 30 minutes. Throughout the day, I take some breaks using a 27 bead mala - one breath one bead until done. About 2 1/2 minutes - I...

    My Me Time

Meditation is the time where I get to fully relax my body and reflect on everything that has been going on in my life. Without medition, I would still be a lost soul. Meditation is my salvation (haha, that rhymed).

    The Art of Soaking Prayer

In a very loud  home, with far too much going around me, I enter the bath...my oasis.  music, candles, wine or tea all optional depending on the mood or day, but most critical.  I soak.  I soak in the presence of God and talk, first letting out all the days...

This is what keeps me human,

disconnecting from this place and connecting to the universe. It's the best feeling. It cannot be explained you can only feel it.

You must centre your focus. There is a must to life to meditate. There are ills to the spirit which can be avoided through meditation. I centre for a period each day, according to my needs.

First thing when I wake up,

I meditate for an hour. I play rain sounds from my computer and focus on my sensations. Some days it's really difficult and I can't get a song or memory out of my head, but those can be the most powerful sessions. Being able to let those things flow through and past me...

In short, it cures what ails you.

I've continued for a few weeks of what used to be a much better meditation regimen. Already, I feel better, less cluttered, more likely to go to a place of love, less likely to go to a place of fear. If you haven't done it, there are a bunch of YouTube guided meditations...
