I remember my mom use to take us and her telling me to get in the back and hide. Lol back then it was so easy to sneak in and plus we were broke and needed popcorn so that meant someone needed to hide. Lol looking back I wouldn't trade those days for nothing.

Oh...we'd get there early to pick the best parking spot and then get to play on the swings til "Showtime"
We used to put blankets and pillows on the roof of the old stationwagon and watch the movies from there.....in the summer of course. Since everyone had their windows...
These were the last movies I saw in a drive-in theater. I was about 13 and it was a double feature. The driven was in around Saskatoon and I think it might still be there. I am not quite to sure since I have not been there for a while.
There is a drive-in, but it is not that close to my town. Now that the kids are getting old enough to go, but not so old that they won't be seen with their old man, I think maybe I should take them over to see whatever is playing before the season ends.
I wonder if they still...
I am in NJ, and somewhat nearby is the last existing drive in movie. Should you want to go to this theater it's near Vineland (NJ) & is named The Delsea!
Drive Ins are a fine idea for an evening out with the family!
I would really enjoy going out to the drive-in to see five hours of Evil Dead movies back to back. Fun movies with the great Bruce Campbell and all that stop motion animated skeleton action. I can not imagine a weekend evening better spent.
