I Miss My Cat Forum & Chat Board | What do you do?

 | Achromasia wrote on 08:16PM at Dec 9th, 2008 I had to put my cat to sleep June 23rd, 2008. I had him since I was seven, all the way up to when I was almost sixteen. I have a puppy and another cat, but they're not Jack. I miss him so badly still...what do you do to ease the hurt? I mean, it's not as awful as it was during the summer...but it still hurts. Any ideas?

I tried crying, because I was so upset that I had lost my best friend, but it only left me with a really bad headache.. Time helps somewhat to ease the pain, but there are times when something reminds me of her and I start crying again.

The special bond you might have had with a particular animal can never be duplicated in exactly the same way, since as living beings, we/they are all different. As you pass through your life though, and keep your heart and mind open, you will again find new and wonderful people and animals to share love with. You will always have those special memories of your cherished pet(s) put away in your mind, to think about fondly. Your pet would want you to go on living your life and finding happiness.
