    70s Were The Best Era

Even though I was just a kid in the 70s I really miss everything about it. People were friendlier, I remember walking down the street and strangers said hi to each other.  The music was amazing, so much diversity from light hearted and happy sounding rock songs to crazy...

    Yep, Miss The 70's

Born In 1962. Graduated 1981. The 70's were a time that was somewhat between past and inventing the future. Computer tech was kind of a mystery, yet it was really coming to fruition. The music and art of the time was always searching for the cutting edge, even if it was...

I Missed The 70's In The Worst Way,

I wasn't born till 76 so I was still in diapers and being pottie trained...really wished I experienced that decade...I love the music, the laid back atmosphere, the free love...but really I don't know. Maybe the time I did grow up was better, you always want what you can't have...

    I Wish I Was A Teen In The 70's

I was born in 1970, so all of my memories of, IMO, the greatest decade ever, are through the eyes of a child. Whenever I watch an old movie (I watch tons of 70's cinema) or listen to classic rock (I've been to every KISS concert since 1979), I get a fuzzy feeling in my belly. My...

    The Best Of Times

Do you remember when a loaf of bread was under a dollar? Orange, brown and yellow were the "it" colors? Disco was alive and well, and we didn't know what the 80's held for us? It was a really exciting time for many of us who were lucky enough to experience it! Lots of folks only...

    It Was An Exciting Time!

I was born in 1970 and as the decade progressed I have so many memories. In many ways I feel fortunate to have been a child in the 70s and a teen in the 80s. There are so many things I miss. The 70s get a bad rap and I don't understand why. The music (in spite of a lot of one-hit...

Young As I Was, I Remember Them Fondly

Lately, while doing housework, I have been listening to audio clips of radio talk-shows from  1970-76, complete with commercials and news reports, and just get taken back in time.I turned 10 in the late autumn of 1979, and the '70s was a great decade in which to be nurtured...

I'm Stuck In The 70s & I Want To Go Back

I was born in 1968 and I miss everything about the 70s, the "good old days." I miss the music, the hippies (my mother was so beautiful), the world before computers, iPads and cell phones! I miss "Happy Days", "Welcome Back Kotter", "Laverne and Shirley", "The Jeffersons", "All...
