My work is with the public.

I am in people's homes every day. The contact is momentary and generally impersonal. I was on a short trip recently where I had the opportunity to connect with people. Particularly female people. Wow, I had forgotten how wonderful light conversation is. I have a wife. She...

    I Need Companionship

    Longing For It.

All I want is someone to have fun with, spend time with, do nothing with.  I have someone but she doesn't yet understand my needs.  I'm really afraid that I need too much and that she is just going to run (I wouldn't blame her) when she sees how damaged and broken I am...

    Someone Out There?

I want to know what it is like to be appreciated. To be thought fondly of. To be able to have a serious conversation and to be treated with respect. I don't like the thought of dating. Too much work but friendship with a sweet sense of compassion would be so wonderful. I know...

Seeing how how difficult it is to find suitable

mate, I almost wish I did not crave or need companionship. I wish I was self sufficient. An analogy would be if a person was always starving and could never get enough food to to fill them, they may wish that they did not have a need for food.
