If one cant escape from their current train of thought and you cant walk it of... shake it off...  is going somewhere else really escaping... or just postponing ?

thats an interesting question and the answer probably varies. there is one time in my life that i had the realization of a temporary escape. i was across the other side of the world in a hotel room. i remember thinking about how no one in the world who knew me could possible track me down or find me at that moment. that was 10 years ago, and i still refer back to that moment and that feeling. even though it was momentary, it was an experience worth having.
