I Just Smoked My Last Cigarette.

It was about 2:50 pm on December 22, 2009. I am a bit nervous, because I like smoking cigarettes, its why I haven't decided to quit till I coughed up some blood. I am quitting cold turkey and switched my addiction to Solitare. Yeah, sounds odd, but I am enjoying the game. I...

I went cold turkey late July last year.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be (nicotine withdrawal), although I did have a hard time explaining to friends and family what I wanted to happen (everyone in my life smokes, it's like saying 'I want to stay away from you but still spend time with you'). I felt my body and...

I've been smoking for about 4 years now and I'm only 17! I love everything about it! But I know I should quit while I'm young! I've read that you can put on weight when you quit and I also don't want to be stressed even more so than I am! Any advise? šŸ˜¢

    The Need to Quit

I have COPD and am smart enough to know that I NEED to quit. Unfortunately, the NEED to quit and the DESIRE to quit are two entirely different things. I get so disgusted with myself, but I continue to smoke. I honestly don't know exactly what to do from here. Oh, I have tried to...

The desire to quit is there or else we wouldn't continue to give ourselves a hard time - I have tried to quit so many times its untrue and have decided that what stops me from doing it again is the fear of failure, AGAIN!.   When I do it right, I am not going to inform...

    For Many Reasons.

I'd love to for my health, for my mates health, hell even my dogs health.   If second hand smoke can be harmful to a child, I imagine it could be harmful to an 80 pound dog.    Then to top it off, a PACK of  smokes is $10.00 now, and going up...

    I Need To Quit Smoking.

I woke up yesterday, with my throat feeling raw and sore, I ran to bathroom coughing spattering blood through my parted fingers. This morning it wasn't as bad, because I had tissue. It isn't incredibly painful, but I am terrified that if I don't stop smoking now, I'll end up...
