I Never Wear Shoes In the House

    Off They Come!

Nope. We have a shoebox next to the door and unless I'm running back in for the forgotten item, they come off there. Usually I also take off my socks and throw them in the general direction of the washing pile. I tend to either go barefoot in the house or have either both or one...

    Bare Feet!

I love the feeling of the cold hard floor under my feet. And the comfort of the carpet during the cold weather.

    No Shoes Indoors

Shoes come off as soon as I enter the mudroom. Then keep my sock on in cool weather, or barefoot any other time. And no shoes for anyone anytime on the boat. Barefoot is preferred, but I let flipflops slide.

    No Shoes But Definitely Socks!!!

It just feels weird to wear my shoes in the house although my mom always has and probably always will, growing up I thought it was odd, guess we don't always do as our parents do!!!  Love my comfy, cushy socks, not a barefoot kind of gal.

    Why Should I

I never felt the need to wear shoes in the house I don't like it besides I'm in my own house. I'm more of a socks person because I don't like to be barefoot or my feet to touch or get dry. I also forget to put shoes on even if they're right there I'll still walk right past them.

Who Wants To Wear Shoes In The House?

I am a sandal wearing girl outside but once I'm in the house my shoes are coming off.  I feel like my feet are trapped when I have to wear sneakers or heels.  In my home, I can be free to walk around bare-footed without worrying about stepping on something nasty or harmful. If...

I Never Did As a Kid

As a kid I hardly wore shoes...I loved going barefoot even in the summer...Which was hard I was riased in the lower desert and it gets real hot...But you learned to run real fast so your feet would not burn... It got up to 120 in the shade...Makes the ground even hotter...But...

For Me It's About The Dirt

It's about the dog poo and whatever else I might step into on my walk. We do have a poop-scoop law here. There are far too many people who walk their pet dog for a duty run without remembering they need to bring a bag for the clean-up. I am talking all sizes of, um, dogs.

    Please Take Off Your Shoes.

I grew up in the late 1960s onwards in a very comfortable house, where we all took off our shoes at the door and it was drilled into me to not only do it at home but to always do the same when i went to my friends. without exception all of my friends parents expected us to take...

I have a love hate relationship with shoes.. I love pretty shoes.. but hate wearing them for long.. I need to feel grounded to the earth.. or wherever I am... I'm not truly comfortable or at home.. until my feet have touched a surface... my feet are good receptors..

I Want to Go Barefoot Soooo Much But Can't

As you know, I love going barefoot.  But I am not able to bring myself to go barefoot at home around my mother and sister.  It is my goal to do so but I need encouragement.  If only I could do it once, I would be hooked!  I'd take off my shoes and socks all...

    No Way

Some people put on shoes when they dress for the day even if they don't plan on leaving the house. If it is winter time and chilly in the house I usually will wear socks, but I never wear shoes unless I am headed out the door. When I get home the first thing I do is take of my...

Growing up me and my sister were always told to

remove our shoes when we entered the house. If our parents took us to someone else's house they told us the same. And after a while it became automatic and now no matter whose house i go in i always take my shoes off at the door.

If I could I would go every where bare foot. Shoes are so uncomfortable. I need to let my feet breath. I never really wear socks either. however not wearing shoes that much you can bet I find those objects others can't find. My hubby always wears his shoes in the house and he...

    Gotta Love Socks

That's all I wear at home. Sometimes if I'm just going to go outside real quick for anything, I'll just go out in socks. I don't like wearing anything on my feet inside the house, but I'm not too fond of being barefoot either. So I just wear socks or tights.

    I Am Always Barefoot.

This must have came from my mother, who is also always barefoot.  When I was in high school I would get in trouble for taking off my shoes, I always wore sandals so I figured what's the difference.  My mother was the same way, but she would walk around all day...

I never wear shoes or socks

and am always barefoot in the house. When I was a child I was taught that I shouldn't wear shoes or socks inside, unless you are getting ready to go some place. I go without because I don't like shoes or socks.
