    I Never Went To Prom

I never went to any of my proms. I remember asking a girl to my senior prom, whom I worked with. She went to a different highschool then me. She said yes, and Like the naive person that I was in my young age, I called her on that special night, and was never able to reach her. I...

    I'm in the 10th grade,

so I haven't gone to prom yet! The only thing is, I don't plan on going. At all. People talk about how special prom is; how it is a night jam-packed full of memories and how you will miss out if you don't go. But you know what I say? I say BULLSHIT. Prom is so pointless and full...

I haven't really had the chance to go to prom

yet, but I'm sure I will never get the chance to go. Prom seems to be a popular event at my school. I can't "wait" until I see all my friends get asked and I don't. The most painful part will be having to sit there, poker-faced while they obsess over each others dresses or...

No one asked me and I never went.

The guys at my high school were all a bunch of *******. Some day, I will have an adult version of my prom- I will buy an expensive dress, have my hair and make up done, rent a really cool limo and eat at a fancy restaurant and go to a hotel for half drunk sex. Added bonus- I won...

This might change, but the future looks bleak. I am in my last year of high school, and i have never been to a dance. So what (even though I have a principals pass, to get into any school activity for free)? I am ok, I will survive either way. As I read in a book lately, "a...

    Weird, Weird, Weird

I never went to prom because for some unknown reason, I have always had a strong fear of dancing in public. But for prom, I decided I was going to go anyway so I got dressed up, drove to the gymnasium, and then decided there was no way I could go inside. So I never went in the...

    Vanity

Why do schools shine their torches on vain students? They certainly created prom with them in mind, as the theme of all proms is vanity. My prom is due this July, but I'm not going. My classmates are placing it above studying towards a good future. Instead of locking themselves...

In High School(1999-2003), I was basically the Quiet Kid In The Corner and a lot of things that many people did in and out of the school really never  interested me. In 2007, my younger brother graduated from High School and he went to his prom and even became Prom King. I...

I am not much into social gatherings. I don't talk to people much outside of EP. I am a quiet sort of person who keeps to herself most of the time out of school. Why would I regret going to prom? I can think of a few reason maybe. 1. Get to have some fun 2. Away...

I just didn't want to go alone. I wasn't a "ladies man" back in high school, and I was really a loner at heart. I had just broke up with my (then) ex I think a month before the prom, so I was riding solo dolo. On top of that, I really didn't have the money to go anyway. So I...

I would've gone if I had a girl I cared for on my arm, but I didn't, and I don't regret that. I hate social convention, anyway, and also I hate most of the music my own generation likes. Oh, it would've been so bad! I'm glad I stayed home and played Puzzle Pirates instead!

I never went to either of my proms (junior or senior year). I had no interest in it. A big reason, though I never admitted it to any of my friends, was that I didn't have a date. I didn't want it to be like every other dance, me running around alone watching all of my friends in...
