I Never Went to Prom

I wasnt allowed to go either.

So a few girls had a private dance party the same night. They invited their boy friends To go there first. So I got to wear my formal gown and ride around in a big limo with everyone and we had a private prom party for a few hours before everyone left to go to the school prom...

I wish I had been able to go to a prom.

I would have loved to be able to put on a beautiful dress like this and prepare myself for my date. Make sure my hair, nails and makeup looked absolutely perfect for making my entrance to the prom with my hot date at my side. Deciding if to wear thigh highs, stockings and...

    Didn't Go, No Regrets

I never went to either of my proms (junior or senior year). I had no interest in it. A big reason, though I never admitted it to any of my friends, was that I didn't have a date. I didn't want it to be like every other dance, me running around alone watching all of my friends in...

Everyone was making a big deal of me not going

to prom in my senior year. They were saying how I would regret it. Never did and I don't now. The tickets were rather expensive and I didn't feel like going shopping for a dress and spending a ton of money to get my hair and makeup done for 1 night. I never went to any dances...

When I was a freshman I attended a dance to be

Everyone said "you're going to regret it".

The only thing I regret is not going to after prom. My high school had a whole after prom thing with prize give always, bouncy houses, food, etc..and it wasn't even half the price of prom lol. Now that's something I should have gone too!

I never went to my prom.

I was constantly bullied and picked on. I was also very depressed during my teens. I never really had any fun teen years. The only fun I had were in my imagination. I fantasized about Casper and I having our very own prom with other weird characters in a different planet.

I went to 2 school dances, but I hated them. The first was the 5th grade graduation dance. All of my friends were asked out to dance. No boy asked me, and since this was during a time I was straight, this bothered me. So I pigged out on the fried food catering, where those...

The Prom - a rite of passage missed . .

The year was 1976.  It was my senior year in high school.  It would be the final year I would have a chance to attend the prom, and I had not been asked.  It was my own fault of course.  I had built an impregnable defense shield around myself repelling boys like two...

Because I graduated from an online high school

because of health issues, so I thought it would be weird because I had no prior social interaction with those people so it didn't really mean anything to me . I do regret it though , because as a girl that is the first time you get to feel like a princess.

I never went to prom because for some unknown reason, I have always had a strong fear of dancing in public. But for prom, I decided I was going to go anyway so I got dressed up, drove to the gymnasium, and then decided there was no way I could go inside. So I never went in the...

If anyone asks me to go to prom with them, I'll just turn them down in Italian. I have better things to do with my time than go to prom and feel nervous about the large amount of people surrounding me. I have Asperger's, and I hate large groups of people.

I am not much into social gatherings. I don't talk to people much outside of EP. I am a quiet sort of person who keeps to herself most of the time out of school. Why would I regret going to prom? I can think of a few reason maybe. 1. Get to have some fun 2. Away...
