Have curly hair and with Florida humidity I have a heck of a time straightening it but I do try. Depending on the weather it sometimes isn't worth the effort so I always check the report before attempting. :)
I own so many straighteners...it's crazy. I prefer my hair straight, but I also find the straighteners very handy to curl my hair too (curling with a straightener...such an oxymoron). I always use my straightener before I go out.
big huge bouncy.... it was too short all winter for me to want to bother with straightening it... and now that it's long again... it's humid... so it's straight until i leave the house.... then it's a big frizzy mess...i'm glad that i like my hair when it's curly or i would have...
I used to have three hair straighteners! Now I only have two. ^^;; And I only use one of them. I keep the other one because it is wider and better for straightening all of my hair whereas the other one is better for my fringe (I normally only straighten my fringe). The thinner...
They're cordless ones and I love them. I don't really need to use them much though... but I did use them a couple of days ago and I burnt my ear.. :/ I've burnt myself so many times on them.. It hurts lol.
I know it sound's weird,I already have straight hair but I still like to try and straighten more.I have tryed to perm it to,gave up on that,it wont stay.my hair is so baby thin.anyway,I just got my first one last yr for christmas and I love it.
I own some, I just never use them. 1.) I love my curls and 2.) They're broke. Someone (finger pointing at sister) managed that. I got the blame, natually. Someone suggested putting them on eBay with the description 'Doesn't get too hot' ???? They don't get hot full stop!!
It stays straight for a while. The minute I step outside it's frizzy, and out of place again. Doesn't matter how much product I put in, none or an immense amout of it.
But it kinda looks good anyways. Undone and cool :)
I used to straighten my hair every day because I hated my curly hair. Lately I've pretty much quit using it though. I actually read a book named "Curly Girl" and since then, I've used my straightener maybe once or twice, but I pretty much stay away from it. Any of you...
