I Owned a Pointless Collection

I used to collect porcelain figurines and dolls from The Danbury Mint.I spent a lot of time, energy && money on these collections.Today, I'm no longer a collector, but I continue to keep my collections on display.

I have been a collector. I enjoy collecting.....but some have been totally pointless. I see that now.

Yes, indeed, I collect tons and tons of different colors, shapes, and sizes of rubik's cubes. It's my own addiction, I have always liked puzzles.

My pointless (and embarassing) collection? Pokemon cards. Not only did I own a shitload of them, I also put them in card protectors and arranged them by number in a binder. A binder that I'm pretty sure I still have in a box somewhere...

When I was around 8 years old I developed an interest in fancy soaps! You know the ones, elaborate packaging, smells like it belongs in grandma's bathroom.
My favourite one was a peony scented egg shaped soap that had flowers engraved...

Beanie Babies, shot glasses from all 50 states, chop sticks, magnets from around the world and so many other useless collections in my home.  Most of these things are packed in my storage shed waiting for me to find a use for them...

...in fact, I'm still hanging on to the remnants of a few of them, lol.

some of my biggest collections when I was younger included horses (plastic, ceramic, glass, posters of them, books about them, you name it!), Beanie Babies...
