    Lined up at the queue,

waiting for my turn to pay. At the neighbouring cashpoint, I notice a group moving together in unison: a thin woman of about 30, two young children clinging to her dress and a young girl of about 16. They were speaking a language I couldn't identify. I observed them as the young...

I want to leave you feeling better. I believe in being kind and thoughtful in everything I do. A compliment, holding open a door for someone, even if it's as little as a smile, I want to be a light in darkness.

My husband and I were at a red light in traffic

and I noticed this homeless man. It was very windy out and getting darker. With hardly a penny to my name, I didn't have anything to give him. So I made my husband park the car, so I could run to the trunk and get the warmest blanket I own. I ran it to the man and he looked me...
