I haven't been able to play

or even open my piano for the last 3 years due to some complicated circumstances. I miss it so much that it makes me cry. But I'm too scared to even touch it, thinking I've probably lost my touch and finger muscles, and since I dropped out of music college when I was 20 it's...

I honestly don't think piano is all

that fun, I play it and I practice it only as a necessity because no matter what college or conservatory I go to I'll be forced to take piano classes and the sooner I can waive that requirement the better (though I would still need to play piano for ensembles at times) and...

Since my childhood I am playing piano,

and I think I am playing it very well but one of my big wishes it´s to play it one day professional. I had to teach me everything myself because there was never money for a professional teacher. But I really miss it to play professional the compositions of Mozart, Haydn and van...

Not very well, it has to be said,

but right now I am putting a lot of effort into getting more into good practice (scales and exercises, bleurgh!). By the time I am about 75 years old I might with luck be able to play the whole of Beethoven's Appassionata without coming to near-grinding halts every time the...

    Scary But How?

I'm not really liked at school but I don't know what I did to make everyone hate me. so they spread rumors about me and made it worse.. So everyday I go to the music room to play on the piano, and I'm playing A River Flows In You by Yiruma and a female walks in and hears me play...

I sight read through Chopin's Nocturne (no.

    9) tonight. I played it so slowly and with so many errors that any half decent classical pianist would probably kill themselves laughing. But, even with my subpar playing, that piece is still incredible. It's impossible to make it sound bad. There's just nothing like it. (Except...

My dad used to let me sit on the bench with him

when I was a child, doling out small melodies when I could. As I got older, he would give me little challenges, just to see if I had been paying attention. He rarely plays now, according to my mother. But, whenever I'm over, he makes sure we spend at least half an hour...
