    Drum Tuning

After all these years I've gotten darn good at tuning drums. But no matter how you do it, guitar players & amateur soundmen will always balk. (They think a drum should sound like a couch cushion) So I finally broke down and got myself DrumDial tuner. The real beauty of this...

    Impromptu Jam

I got together with some friends and played last night. I was a bit rusty at first but found the grove after a short while. Lots of fun! We're planning on getting together regularly now. Never too old to rock 'n roll!!

    Still Bangin'

Nothing like living and feeling in perfect time and rhythm. A lifeline connection to your deepest parts, the rhythm, it's who I am.

    Drum Roll Please.

Many years ago, my wife and I went into this bar for the first time to hear a local band play. The guy with the mike after one of the bands sets, asked it there was anyone in the audiance who would like to join the band for the night-just for fun and if you did a good job, he...

    So, For Those Drummers...

I'm VERY possessive and anal-retentive about my drums. Especially the feel and tuning... Anyone else feel as anal about their drums?

    Drums, Drums, And More Drums

I have always had a huge interest in drums. I just never actually got around to getting a kit or start learning until last year. I broke down and got a kit, finally releasing all that built up angst to bash on the kit. Growing up I was always a big Genesis and Phil Collins fan...

    Drumming Withdrawl

I miss my drumset. I played in highschool, but couldn't take them with me when I moved out. We lived in the country so it didn't matter how loud I was, which was good because I was LOUD. I'm in general a quiet person who doesn't talk a lot so maybe that was my outlet. I kept my...
