    as you learn kung fu,

you must learn to love . Love with your heart, your mind, and your soul. Learn to know that when you say love, you mean passion in every fleeting heartbeat, and in your deepest mind. When you learn to love, you may come to love the world for what it is, and not for what it could...

The human mind is the greatest weapon,

and your body is the ultimate ammunition. Natural human movement can render an armed man defenseless against an empty-handed one. Conviction can see a single fighter defeat an army. A disciplined mind and powerful body are limitless. But little boys who wave martial arts like...

    Strength Not Destruction

Today was our first day of sparring in our

    I've been practicing

for about 6 years now. I'm self taught in bōjutsu mainly, but practice other forms of martial arts as well. Doing bōjutsu is just very relaxing and therapeutic. Like go with the flow. It calms me like meditating but when I'm angry it can help me release that fire inside.

There's two sides to the appearance of martial

Since I moved away from that area I haven't been able to enjoy another club/martial art as much. I also cannot find a place with a Sensai similar to the one i trained under, which saddens me. (I am aware people differ). Maybe it is a matter of me having to get used to a new club...
