I agree with Blonde.  I'll load the gun, fire the bullet and drop the artist.  Blonde, you supply the drinks.  We'll celebrate!  Heard the old saying "Wish you were here?"  Wish I were there.  I'd love a chance to get at someone like that!

Is Central America so desitute for genuine artists that it applauds sadism as a form of 'creativity'?  I would encourage all those invited to contribute to this exhibit to 'just say NO'.  Stay home folks, unless you want your own works connected to Vargas and those who applaud pain and suffering.  What garbage!

This is not art...  It is animal cruelty..  This man should be starved for his "idea" of art...

As an artist, I am enraged at the use of the word "art" to describe this deliberate, criminal, sadistic act of torture.  There is no "art" here.  How on earth was he allowed to do this?  Why wasn't the dog rescued?

I'd like to sign

even though I didn't dare reading but the title

Please tell if I can do anything

Mistreating a dog is one of the most sickening things a human can do

I wish it is/was not true

I wish that "artist" doesn't really exist, or, in case "it" does, I wish "it" (how call she or he suxh a monster) spends eternity in Hell after dying of hunger and misery

Sorry, I cannot read the hole comments tonight

too terrifying

But I'd write or sign whatever

I signed! Everyone should. It just takes a second and it could save so many lives. This guy is sick....

Signing e petitions is completely pointless and does nothing but let the signers feel like they've done something. If you are truly committed to supporting this or any other cause... then get out there and actually, well, DO something.

YamiNoSensei actually hits on the point that the artist was making. We like to think we're helping, when really, we can't be inconvenienced.

Furthermore, I love that no one here does their homework. The dog was captured off the street in this state. He was not starved. They fed him, and he was displayed as part of the exhibit. Then, he escaped. None of the viewers tried to help him or feed him. Just the artist did. Irony, yes? You all are bad mouthing the artist, but he's the only one that did anything for the dog.

Icing on the cake? Vargas signed that petition to prevent him from showing at another exhibit. Next time you get up in arms, do your homework first.
