I discovered this at lunch one day when my friend Chris ate a sandwich with doritos on it.
Since I really didn't like doritos, I tried it later on with potato chips -- it tasted absolutely delicious. It gave it a perfect crunch that most sandwiches definitely lack...
I have always done this since I was a kidI remember asking my mum to just give me a packet of chips and buttered bread for lunch at school.Whenever I dont know what to put on my sammich,I just grab whateva chips I have and cram them on.OMG now I really need a chippy sammich!!
2 slices of white enriched bread
6 pieces of thin sliced ham, 3 on each bread
Mayo on both bread too

then potato chips to top it off.. on both pieces
and crush them together for the finish

I was so excited when I came across this group! I'm really surprised that more people don't do this!!! It's amazing! I love how it gives your sandwich that yummy, crispy crunch. lol. I don't care what kind of chip I add to be honest....although bbq or cheddar & sour cream are...
Mostly because it just tastes good and I love the crunch the chips make. Plus if I can get the chips on my sandwhich and eat them that way it keeps me from getting my fingers greasy, something people appreciate when a paper I wrote ends up on there desk.
I thought I was the only one who does this. I just love eating crunchie foods & snacks. I also crunch-up all my ice, after my drink is gone. But, adding crunchie SourCream-n-Onion Potato Chips to my sandwich is just THE BEST...!
Crusts cut off with cheese and bologna or ham, my mom always had potato chips on top of the meat. I love the way the texture of the chips is contradictory to the meat and cheese. MMM I might need to make a ham and cheese now.
