I Read Lots of Books At the Same Time

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 2,870 People

    Just One? What?

I like to read multiple books at one time. People wonder how I don't get confused while reading them. It doesn't even matter if they are the same genre, as long as they aren't the same author I'm good. Currently I am reading: Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card A Canticle...

May I recommend my novel, "Shattered Destiny" out by Champagne books to you. And, please let me know how you would end this book. It deals with the supernatural, reincarnation, alternate realites and origins. It is a fiction rollercoaster. I check in here a lot and would love to...

Yay! This group exists! :) So yeah...I've got three books I'm reading at the same time. This is probably child's play compared to what a lot of other people do, but even still, it's fun. I'm just happy to know I'm not the only person who has his or her nose in a book all the...

Too Many, Probably, But How Can You Tell?

It's never supposed to be less than two. I try to pray the Daily Office, so at the very least there is, or ought to be, a slow plodding relentless march through the Bible and the BCP over the course of the year. So my acceptable lower threshold is two, and probably always will be...

Having Your Cake And Eating It Too

I used to read one book at a time until I went to college. The course load got me into the habit of reading multiple books at one time.  Soon I was doing it for pleasure.  When I read a book at a time, I would get anxious to finish the book I was reading so I could move onto...

    I Like To Stay Submerged

I realised rather a long time ago that I hated the loose-ended feeling of being out of the story.  When a book ends, it's something of a rude shock to my system.  So I read several books, and if I can help it, include a series or read through the Bibliography of one Author...

    Not By Choice
