    Not Only Because They , Generally, Are Focused On the Point...

    ...but because there's usually more than one topic in there - and then one can grab another reference book to learn more and more about that topic!  Like the Internet on steroids!

    Garage Sale Books

    I get reference books, such as text books, comic books, old encyclopedias, dictionaries and self help books.  When I get a free moment I read them.
