WHY I Read the Holy Bible

I read my bible because I wanted to know if people were quoting it right.  The Holy Bible tells it like is.  After reading the whole bible.  I feel like I have a better understanding about this life.

It Took Awhile But I Did It

Yeah, it took me almost a year to finish reading the bible - but I was glad I did it. And you get so much more from it by reading it yourself - instead of just taking someone's word for it. Like some people say people should stick to their own kind "as in, races should...

    Pretty Interesting

I've read it a few times.  I wanted to know what the big deal was.  I think it's an interesting text, but the kernels of wisdom that are in there (and there are quite a few) have been lost.  The Bible is partly a chronicle of the early years of the Hebrew...

I read the whole bible just

once when was 13 or 14 years old but there were many chapters who were extremely boring to me (especially the chapter of the Kings and the chronicles. My most favourite chapter until today is the chapter Proverbs. It´s written in such beautiful words and there´s so much wisdom...

    I Read It All...

All of it makes sense. I read it all and thought about it. I then referred to a study bible if I didn't understand anything. There is so much more beyond what the bible says on the surface. Things like our freedom of choice, what is sin, how we should approach those of other...

The Bible Is a Love Letter From Jesus

The Bible especially the N.T. Gospels is all about the only Christ or Messiah, JESUS of Nazareth. The 4 Gospels are a 50 day snapshot of a 3 year ministry from 4 eyewitnesses, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. There is a personality or nature of GOD described in the four gospels...

I've read the bible cover to cover many, many, many times. I've also taken several biblical classes in high school and college. Sometimes I feel like I know more about the bible than the average church-going Christian.

    Instant Confusion

After reading the entire Bible, I was so confused. The book is full of so many contradictions. The bible says Homosexuality is wrong, but then when you read somewhere else, it says "love everyone". Anyway, I think I'll just stick with my twisted morals.

    It Changed My Mind.

It's ironic to me that a text such as the bible can produce so many mixed emotions from so many people. How can one book have so much of an impact. I guess it's because it is the Word of God and none of us can agree on who or what God is, or what He wants us to do. I was raised...

    Incorrect Bible Translations.
