    Yesterday I Recycled A Mattress...

Yes, I know how crazy it sounds, but believe me I didn't do it because I care about environment that much. I did it to save my marriage :-) So, it all started when we bought a new mattress for the kid. We threw the old one into the porch with the idea that we'll get rid of it...

I made this tailgate for a customer back in 1992. He since sold the pickup but he saved the gate for all these years. Well just the other day his brother needed a back-window protector for his pickup, after breaking two of them. His brother gave him the tailgate so I could make...

    Propane Tank Recycling

Here is another way to recycle a propane tank. I took the domed end of the tank and welded four legs to it and now it's a fire pit...I think I might have to take it for a test drive before I sell it to make sure it works. Hehehe

I don't recycle by creating things,

like lots of you do. I do simple recycling by putting recyclable materials in my recycling bin. It's not a hassle and I don't know why some people are against it.

It's the least you can do

for your and your descendants environment. I'm not an environmentalist because I'm not able to be one, but I try. This is why I recycle, this is why I try to use such cleaning supplies which are environment friendly, this is why I try to plant several new trees a year and use...

    It's So Important!

So why don't more people do it. I recycle everything I can. It annoys me so much when I see people who don't, despite my state's laws. But I also repurpose things so that there is less waste on my part. I wish more people were of like mind about recycling.

Bed rails are a good source of light duty material. Bed rails has a high carbon/alloy content so they don't like to be drilled with common HSS twist bits but, it's doable with a fresh sharp bid. I had to repair my wheelbarrow handles so I scabbed some bed rails on the inside of...
