    Growing Up

I recently turned twenty-one. Yet, I don't feel like that's my age. I oftentimes find myself seeing other people I grew up with as though they got older but I didn't. It's a surreal feeling. I'm not sure what about me causes me to feel this way. I had a good childhood...

    I Won't Grow Up...if I Keep This Up

I just ate a sandwich with two blueberry eggos serving as breadslices, and the center filled with whipped cream, and chocolate ice cream.  Downed it with a Diet Coke. Yup, its a while before I'm growing up:)

    Adult? Me?

I'm nearly 26. I'm married. I'm a full-time stepmom to a 4 year old boy. But I'm not grownup. I refuse. I spent 10 minutes on my wedding night going "I'm not old enough to be married!" I still eat ice cream for dinner. I still forget to brush my teeth. I still stay...

I Refuse to Comply With Your Misery

(Make sure you read the whole thing before you jump to conclusions, when I say ''you'' it doesnt mean YOU THERE LOOKING AT THE SCREEN, I like the people that take the time to read on EP)I am certainly a boy, not a man, legally an adult, I dont call...

What Does Growing Up Even Mean?

does it mean we have to stop having fun? stop loving colors and beauty and fun? Idk, it seems to me like growing up just means paying the bills, showing up to work (or figuring out how else to make money), and being generally responsible. I mean, beyond that, who's business is...

    Never Gonna Happen

I absolutely refuse. The day I grow up is the day I die. My immaturity is the only thing I have in common with my friends, I enjoy laughing at inappropriate times, and I love cartoons with a passion. I hate when people look down on others and get all serious (although I do get...

    I Don't Understand

It all started when I realized the path I was going down was going to lead me to either jail or homelessness. I was the queen of procrastination and I didn't care about anything beneficial, in example: school. All I wanted to do was hang out with my friends and have my parents...

    I'm Afraid....

I'm only fourteen, but when I think about the future and being a grown-up, or just look at my brother I just want to stop it all. I'm afraid graduating, of leaving home (even though I don't like it that much...=S). I want to stay well maybe not this age, but just be little...

Why Would Anyone Want To Grow Up?

I am 48 and a single father of two and I am a responsible person, but I refuse to grow up. I refuse to fit into the mold that society want me to fit into. I plan to have fun and be me until the day I die and that will be a long time from now!

I am 31 and still carry around a bubble wand.

I also have several stuffed animals laying around and I can't refuse a swing if I wanted to
