I Refuse to Use Internet Explorer

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 971 People

    I've Tried Many,

But when it comes down to it, couldn't care less. Call me an uninformed consumer, call me low-tech. I'll take my information whichever way I can. I will not refuse to use any browser. I'm still using E on my new computer. And I suspect Google is already spying on my every move...

and I immediately got a virus each time. It's too buggy & slow, I don't know why MS has kept it around so long.

    Google Chrome Or Firefox

The two browsers that I will use are Chrome and Firefox.  I used Firefox exclusively for years, but I have just recently found Chrome and I love it.

    Poor Performance.

It's one of the slowest browsers out there, and there are ALWAYS security issues. There's no way to customize it to your liking, as can be done with many other browsers. I can't see using IE if there are other alternatives. Personally, I prefer Firefox (although I use its Linux...

    Yup, I Hate It

I am a diehard Firefox girl.  Whoo-hoo!  Firefox all the way.  The use of this browser has changed my online life, which is really a significant portion of my life.  Through Mozilla/Firefox, I have found StumbleUpon, which eventually introduced me to EP, which...

IE is probably one of the worst browsers ever. It's slow and crashes way too much. Firefox is the best in my opinion, I've been using it for 5 years. <3

I am a former IE user. In fact, I just switched yesterday. I couldn't take it anymore. The constant pop-ups and distractions bugged me to the core. Now, I'm rid of that stupid browser. There was one good thing about Internet Explorer . . . better font quality. I use Firefox now...

    I Refuse All But Necessity.

I don't use IE if I can help it. While it did make a certain amount of sense to include a browser for an exploding web community: 1) It should not be married to the system.   a) This was a highly underhanded move, and had everything to do with blocking competition by way...
