    Pretty Colors!

    i am all about some colors, and so is Rainbow Brite. therefore we got along great. i had the dolls and shows on tape and had a jolly time. reading the wikipedia article, though, has reminded me once again how truly bizarre children's programming and marketing was in the 80's...

    When I was a kid, I desperately wanted an Indigo or Shy Violet doll. Instead I ended up with Patty O'Green. I cried for days. My parents found a Starlite for me to make up for it. Rainbow Brite was about the only girly thing I liked as a kid (alone withj my little ponies).

    Childhood Memories

    I had a Rainbow Brite cup, storybook with a read along tape. I still have the game board, but I lost the other pieces to the game years ago. I dressed up as Rainbow Brite at Halloween a few days ago, ( I always dress up in a costume when I hand out candy to trick or treaters...
