    Remembering The Orange Bottle

Saw this and had to comment. This is all our babysitter gave us to drink. I remember exactly what the bottle looked like and where she kept. >snickering to self<

    I Remember Tang.

I remember Tang. Later it became Raro or Vitafresh, all essentially the same. What they lack though, healthy as they may be, is a fizz, which has become a necessity, in most  things I drink. Now it's 'V' or 'Soda', or as it's called in New Zealand, Lemonade. The Tang days are...

    The Astronauts Drank It

I've never tried Tang and I doubt I ever will. I prefer real orange juice. The thing I'll always remember about Tang is the Apollo astronauts back in the late 60's drank it. It was easier to bring along than containers of orange juice!

    Astronauts Drink It!

That was how they were trying to get me to drink it, from those stupid television commercials, but the truth is my Mom got some once and we all hated it! I can't stand the stuff and even if the space guys thought it was awesome, I didn't.

    Orange Grit

I remember Tang, but I never liked it much.  It seemed like no matter how much I stirred there was always gritty goo on the bottom of my glass.  And somehow the flavor was just...off.  The color was kind of pretty, and I liked the smell...but the stuff just tasted...

    Blech

Oh yes, I remember Tang!  That chalky, pale orange powder that was supposed to turn into orange juice when mixed with water.  In other words, it was (supposedly) a healthy Kool-Aid.To me, it was just plain gross.Tang was one of the only things my grandmother put before me that...

    Yes I Do

I still drink the sugar free version a couple of times a week and also use it to make Russian tea mix in the winter.

    Pregnancy Tea

My mom always kept it around when I was little and my friends' moms kept getting knocked up. My mom swears that if you make this one certain recipe of spiced tea/punch that has Tang in it, it makes the baby come out sooner. I want to call BS on that, but actually, every woman who...
