    Mtv - Short for Music Television. Well, it says it on the logo. Right There. Yet, out of 24 hours, how many are devoted to just videos? A lot less than normal. Maybe it should be called Music & Entertainment TV. Make the name closer to the content

    Yes, back then, whenever you turned on the station there was a music video playing. If not, there was a minimal wait as a VJ introduced the next song. All day, all night, music videos on the air 95% of the time!!
