    I have ancestors from Italy,

Austria, Germany, Sweden, Norway, and possible Native American ancestry. That is all I know about but would love to find out what else I might be. Also want to learn more about my family tree.

    A Fascinating Project.

I recently researched my family history.  There are no kings or queens anywhere (that figures!).  Instead I have a long line of honest, hardworking people.  Mostly agricultural based workers, but also butlers and servants in the grand houses, city cabmen (in the days of the...

    I Have Helped My Mom

I have helped my mom. Find the connection to Joseph Smith. I read names to her from a book that I have. She would add them to our family history. I love it when she gives me a name and I google it. Its a fun way to compare what people have input to the LDS Church's family...

Only A Little Bit So Far

I don't know much beyond My Mother's immediate family. My so-called "father" abandoned Me and My Mother before I'd even reached the age of two years. So what I know of him or his immediate family is completely hearsay from My Mother. I've done most of My limited research about My...

    Stolen History, Lost Memories

Until recently my past has been a complete black hole. I was adopted by abusive people and never given any information about my ancestry. All my life, I have felt like an outsider, a stranger in a strange land. My adoption took place in South Africa. All I was given were...

    I Researched My Family Ancestry

I'm so excited. This morning I was finally

able to track down where my maternal great grandparents are both buried. It took me a while to track them down, but I finally discovered a death certificate. It had some good information on it. And tomorrow I'm headed to Waltham, MA to see the graves. I've ordered both...
