Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 157 People

I Started Getting In to It Years Ago

....but I got too busy with work at the time and dropped it like a lot of things.  Now I want to pick it up again, although, I don't know if I would want to scale huge mountains...  I may get too freaked out for that... but I just love rocks and I like bouldering.

    Can't Get Enough...

    ...or Used to Anyway

Truth is, I haven't climbed in years. Well, once or twice on an artificial wall, but that's it. In high school I used to spend my weekends up in the mountains, or on a climbing wall. I was the golden boy of the high school team, and I out-climbed even my instructors. In the...

    Rock Climbing

I got my first taste for rock climbing when I lived in Colorado and I think it was one of the best places to start. Beautiful scenery and the mountains made for all kinds of climbing. I was really lucky to have friends that were "expert" (for lack of a better term...
