    Bridge Burner

I have a special talent for disappearing.  I can vanish in plain sight.  My first instinct, as a Scorpio, is usually to lash out with my sometimes vicious tongue.  But other times I cower.  And wilt.  And, in these times, I run.  And I hide. ...

    Running For Potential Failures

When I an in uncertain situations, such as a new job responsibility/assignment, I feel a very strong urge to run away from them and instead read silly books or watch movies.  I hate to let people down or be wrong, it makes me feel so bad that I instead just call in sick or 'work...

Drop The Hot Potato And Sprint In The Opposite Direction.

That's basically the motto of my emotional life. I can deal with physical, professional and academic issues but not emotions. They kill me. The last time I dropped a hot potato was about 2 months ago when I saw the true colors of my friend on a trip to Vegas. After that I cut off...

Ignore It And It Will Go Away

After a bullying incident I skipped school for a whole year before my teacher or my parents realized I was doing it. I like to run away. It feels good. One time I ran so fast out the school and into the road that I was hit by a oncoming car. I just got up and kept running.

Being... It is the letting go of all the should's, the must's, the have-to's, the have-nots, the cannots, the doubts and the guilt. > It is allowing your thoughts to come forth - without judgement. > It is allowing yourself to feel - without judgement. > It is...

    Wish They Could Find Me...

When I get into a confrontation I generally shut down, run, and hide. As I get older, the distance I run gets farther. I am now thousands of miles away from my problems, but then again here they are and I still have to face myself. I used to have soo many friends, a social...
