    Best Cam Movie

Cloverfield was one of the best view cam movies I have seen since the Blair witch Project.I loved the feel of the vibe it gave me when the huge giant let out the smaller aliens like a spider does its young!!The idea that a person would mutate and become infested with alien DNA...

At Least One and a Half Thumbs Up

I saw it on midnight, opening night, with a bunch of friends. I went in expecting it to be not so good, but it actually was. It was fun, interesting, and pretty cool. I'm just not so big a fan of the whole shaky camera style, because it hurts my head... Haha

    Cloverfeild: My Review

I liked the way they made it as if some normal person was taping the whole thing, but I don't think it worked that A, you never actually get to see the monster properly (except from a few blurry seconds at the end and B, that you never get to see what happend. Was price restored...

    It Was Ok

The beginning seemed to drag on at first and the camera was so shaky that it made it hard to watch. But I have to admit that when things started happeneing I was a bit on the edge of my seat. The little creatures that attacked the people in the subway tunnel scared me.  The...

It was like experiencing Godzilla in the first person. Some of the parts were pretty intense. Would definetly go see it again and can't wait till it some out on DVD.

    But....

I was not impressed. It wasnt the storyline that I disliked so much as theviewing experience. I found it very difficult and frustrating.

    Saw It,loved It.

I wasn't sure I would when I saw the dude with the video camera. Reminded me of The Blair Witch Project and I didn't think that movie was very good. But i went ahead and watched it and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. I have watched it again and again and am still not tired of...

    Yeah Twas a Good Watch

Very cool. Don't read too much of this, I might hint at spoilers.   Did anyone else thing the monster was very video-gameish? Definitely a monster for the gaming generation. I wasn’t disappointed at the ending, my friend noted a better ending may have been right...

I am not a fan of any movie with a hand held camera involved. Not The Blare Witch Project and not this one.

    Meh....

Wasn't the best; wasn't the worst. It would have been nice if they had more money in their budget to film it a bit better... Waited the whole movie to get a decent view (too jumpy).

Scary Movie... But Then, I'm Scared of Everything.

I shouldn't have seen this movie. I knew as soon I saw the preview that it would be scary. I KNEW it. But this is what I do to myself - I scare myself silly. And not in a fun way. Movies like this do nothing for me except scare me to death. I have to be at work every morning at...

    I Saw It

I saw it many times, I even own it on DVD. But for the life of me, I can't see that thing that drops into the water at the end. I knew about it even before I saw the movie and I still can't find it.  It's driving me a bit nuts.

    Not the Best

can't say that I really cared for this movie. I really don't like that style of video. The storyline at first was rather lame. I guess I really didn't like it.

    It Was Dumb!!

first of all...NOTHING like this could EVER happen!! my friend ashley and i were like what the hizzeck is this?!?! and the first part at the party took FOREVER. so the whole movie moved really slow, almost TOO slow for our liking. and when it was over and they all died ANYWAY...

    Yuck

That movie made me really nauseated..... LITERALLY. The camera was all over the place. Kinda like, when I was little, the swings made me sick, the merry go-round made me sick and I got carsick !!!!!

    What a Bore

A snooze-fest. The movie is dull and uninspired. I admit that I haven't seen it whole. I gave up after half an hour of watching some guy's party video. The acting was especially bad although that might have been on purpose to go with the mockumentary style. And wtf kinda name...

The Size Of The Screen Matters!

The first time I watched this was on my zune. We're talkin a 3" or 4" screen. Since the whole movie was supposed to be a camcorder it was kind of like watching someones camcorder. You only get quick flashes of a monster and on a small screen you're thinkin, "What the hell was...

    I Loved It!

I'm not a big fan of scary movies but I really liked this movie. The camera work didn't bother me. I don't get motion sickness very easily and I'm very thankful for that because I was able to really enjoy this movie. I think the camera work is what made it so cool and different...

And almost puked on myself in the theater. It was a really good movie and I was really interested in it but it wa shard to watch because all the camera shaking. What's weird was when I saw it again on DVD it didn't affect me at all. Great movie though. I wonder if they'll...

    Question?

At the end, when Beth and Rob are on Coney Island, did anybody else see something drop in the water behind them and cause a splash? I swear, it was something round and black. I think it might have been the creature thingy. Look for it, if you're going to see the movie!

    I Just Recently Saw It

I thought that Cloverfield would be one of those movies like the Twilight Zone or something with a meaning behind it or even Stephen King's The Midst. I love movies that make you think and leads you to think of what we're all thinking such as government conspiracies. However...

    Saw It, Nearly Blew Chunks

Many years ago, when I saw 'The Blair Witch Project' I threw up after being sick for hours from the jumpy camera action throughout the movie.  Needless to say, when I saw 'Cloverfield' I had no idea that the same hand-held camera technique had been employed.  My EP...

    I Liked It

When I first started seeing adverts for it on TV, I was like, "I wanna go to that!" My mom thought it was gonna suck. But I was suuuper excited. So I looked up some reviews, and it was weird. It seemed everyone either loved it or hated it... or threw up from it...

    It Gave Me Motion Sickness

I will never subject myself to anything that is done in that fashion again. By the end, I was so sick, that instead of going out to dinner with the rest of the group I came with, I went home and took a Gravol.

    Saw It, Hated It

I guess the subject line speaks for itself.  I have to admit that the fact that I'm a sucker for world disasters is what lured me to it. The guy who was holding the camera the whole movie should have died in the beginning. Could they have picked a more annoying person...
