I love Mary Poppins!  She is so imaginative and fun.  If I could have any superpower I would want hers, the ability to snap my finger and have everything in my room go to its place.

More Times Than I Can Count.

At least 6 or 7 times while it was still playing first run in the theaters. Whenever someone said "Do you want to go to a movie?", I said "Sure, lets go see Mary Poppins" I watched it whenever I could when it was released to TV. And I bought it when it came out on VHS. I don't...

    Practically Perfect In Every Way

This will always be one of my favorite films of all time. I have very fond memories of watching it as a child with my grandmother. We knew all the songs and would sing along. I still find myself singing one from time to time. lol

    A Spoon Full of Sugar

I haven't watched this movie in years but I can still remember a lot about it. I loved the way it made me feel happy when I watched it. Hey maybe, I should watch it now to see if I could boost my mood with it. I always wanted a babysitter like her when I was a kid! ...

Saw It When It Came Out.

This was one of the few movies that my parents took me and my brothers to see. I've seen it once on video since then.

    Loved it, Watcher it

as a child and I really do miss watching films, the classic look to them and the rustic picture. Yes of course it's nice having clear sound and clear picture in a film, there's something about older films I love. I think it's their imperfections that just work for them and...

There's a concern I have regarding the Spoonful

of Sugar number that I'm hoping someone on EP could answer (it almost freaked me out as a child). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLkp_Dx6VdI 3:29-4:09 Why is it that the jack in the box, chest of drawers, closet, nightstand, and toy soldiers suddenly go haywire on their own...

    My First Date

My mom is someone who loves movies, and has for all of her life. As a child, it wasn't unusual that she would take me to the movies every couple of weeks when I was small. We went and saw Mary Poppins one day and I just fell in love with that movie.  One Saturday, my...
