    Baby

Twice. I saw it the first time at my local Showcase with my Dad. Then when we were in London we went to see it again with my brother. This time at the Empire where Star Trek had it's Uk premiere. We were in Stage 1 and I thouroughly enjoyed it a lot more. The screen is huge...

We Thought It Was Great !

Loved the story line, loved the actors playing all the originals as younger people.  It was really better than we thought it would be.

I can't wait for the new one!

The reboot is definitely a different entity than anything that went before, but if it's Star Trek, I love it :)

    MOVIE Was Great

I really loved the movie..i thought all the actors captured the original  cast so well, Kirk ,Spock and the others....the only query i had` was that Eric Bana (nero) didnt look like a Romulan....well not like the ones we have seen before.

    Entertaining But Very Flawed

First off, let me say that the movie overall was entertaining, and there were some good action sequences and some good character moments. That said, I have a lot of problems with the film: 1. I love time travel stories where time travel is used to actually create some...

    I Think I'm In Love

Yeah, I'm in love with this movie.  First, let me say that I *do not* care what anyone else says about it. Supposedly, Trekkies don't like it. I don't care. Consider me pluggin my ears and saying "la la la la la la la la la la" as they whine. I'm sure that...

    Good Movie

First time I saw it I was impressed with some of the characterizations done by the actors, given they're replacing icons in Star Trek lore. I wasn't so crazy about the resetting of the timeline at first but now they can go their own way with the story line, with the original...

    Oh the Shame

I was in a room filled with Trekkies, and the scary part is, I loved it.   I actually enjoyed the movie, I wasn't expecting to laugh and almost cry at a Star Trek movie.  I was surprised at some of the casting but I have to say that they did a very nice job. ...

    I Enjoyed It.

Some of my science teacher colleagues are having fun ranting about the bad science, but Star Trek has never been about hardcore scifi, so that didn't bother me too much.  Yeah, the persistent lens flares were annoying and distracting.  Yeah, I would have picked...

I Saw The New Star Wars Movie

Oops, did I say Star Wars? I meant Star Trek. Really I did! I mean, it's not like the movie followed a young farm boy who took to the stars on a grand adventure. And it's not like it was filled with combat scenes in enormous industrial-esque sets where falling to your death is...
