It's just something my parents have instilled

into me: always say please and thank you, always be the first to apologise. I just go on autopilot, I will apologise for anything and everything. Sometimes I'll apologise just to end a difficult conversation. Sometimes I'll apologise because that's what I think people want to...

    I say "I'm sorry" a lot

when it comes to my relationships. I'm a little socially awkward and ever since I was in the 4th grade I just apologize for anything, when I like fart or you know I say excuse me and that's all normal and stuff but if I look at someone I say I'm sorry, if I walk to slow I say I...

    Really Bad Habit

I have no trouble 'fessing up when I put my foot in it...but I also have the bad habit of apologizing when I did nothing wrong.  For instance, I'll go up to someone playing their music loud enough for the whole library to hear and say "I'm sorry, but you need to turn that down...

I do this all of the time.

This a habit that I picked up when I was little. It has gotten so much worse since being in a bad relationship. I would apologize for everything! That included things that were not my fault and I had no control over! I'm working hard to try to break this habit, but it's hard!

    All The Time

I do it constantly, even if it has to do with something I had nothing to do with. I over-apologize sometimes to the point it drives my partner crazy. The problem is, that I am truly sorry. I'm sorry that someone doesn't feel good, even though I had nothing to do with them being...

but I want to express my commiseration

when the person beside me doesn´t feel comfortable. I also apologise when I want to come out of a difficult situation or when I want to end a fight. I don´t like quarrel and discord at all. I just like peace and harmony in my life and to be the first one who says "sorry" is a...
