OK... So, I started this group so I could write a story about shaka, explain what it means and the history...
It turned out - though not extremely so - more popular than I thought... people were commenting on others stories wanting to...

I guess I have been an avid user of the shaka for some time, yet never knew the term used to describe it.

I dont surf anymore physical injury has taken its toll. We used to add BRA for Bro or brother. But that was another decade. Ah the late 70;s in Hermosa Beach. To bad I was so young.
