    I was quite good at it too, although I haven't participated in some years now. Very good practice if ya hunt pheasant. There are none around here that I've seen. Back home, it was a regular on the menu.......soon :)

    the Obscure Sport

    From my experience, people don’t tend to know or understand exactly what Sporting Clays is.  It is a lot like Trap and Skeet (two other seemingly obscure games) that involve shotgun shooting and clay discs that fly at speeds of about 60 miles per hour and can come from...

    I'm 61, and about eight years ago my husband Frank gave me a shogun and proceeded to teach me to hit moving targets. Many tears,under-breath curses, interminable lessons with licensed ***** and qualified good guys,I finally began to GET IT. I always loved it and now even more.

    TOO Cool

    This is awesome. I wish I could shoot sporting clays! I just want to be like.... "PULL". *BOOM* That's what sporting clays are... right.... hahaha

    I love shooting clay pigeons.  I even have a thrower.  Too bad shotgun ammo and the pigeons have gone up so much lately.

    Sport Shooting

    Ahh I remember my first time when I went skeet shooting I had a blast!!! It was the funnest experience I had being only 12 back then. I love the sport it is just so fun and exciting and im glad others have tried it to and im sure any new comer would love it...
