The Fan Has To Be On.

I don't know what it is but I feel like I can't go to sleep unless the fan is on. It's either the constant hum of the fan or the circulating air that does it. Without it'll toss and turn till day light, unless I had been drinking and then i could sleep anywhere. :)

I sleep with my ceiling fan

and floor fan on all the time even in winter. I need air to be circulated around me so I can be comfortable. If I don't have air circulated around me I get so irritated.

I can not sleep with total silence.

I have to have a fan on at all times no matter what. Sleeping with total silence kinda scares me.

I sleep with a fan on every night,

summer, winter, spring and fall. Something about the noise.

it is weird how you need to have noise to go to

sleep, I have a fan running all year round not necessarily for the blowing of it but just for the noise

    I can't sleep without it.

It's always right by my face and the sound is a must. I hate it when the power goes out during the night. I wake up instantly and can't go back to sleep until the power is back on.

It is right on my face,

all four seasons long! I like the slight breeze, and the sound of it because I hate silence at night, it scares me so bad I am unable to sleep. I also wake up feeling awake and refreshed because I have more air coming at my face and I don't feel claustrophobic!
